Contrasting approaches, complimentary skills, and all the stronger for it.
Briants is both a big city accountancy firm, and a Cornish coastal one. It’s a business built on more than 50 years’ experience, but also invigorated by fresh blood. It knows traditional sectors such as agriculture and dentistry, but loves working with eCommerce firms and startups, too.
Why Birmingham and Cornwall? Because we’re a family firm and that’s sometimes how families work.
Tom, the firm’s founder, was born in Birmingham and moved to Cornwall as a young man, where he’s lived ever since. Ian, his son, was born in Cornwall but reversed the journey, heading back to his dad’s home turf to study and eventually making Birmingham his home.
For Briants as an accountancy firm, this has worked out really well. The fact is, we don’t live in a bubble and we know what life is really like for businesses up and down the UK, from the heart of the Midlands to the Helford Passage.
Our family’s adventurous streak has also helped us gain the first-hand experience that makes Briants such a special accountancy firm. It equips us to reassure, advise and challenge people wherever they are on the business journey.
